Gas prices fall to 2008 level

While high gasoline prices affected many people’s budgets, mental states, and driving habits earlier this summer, the plummeting prices lately are having an opposite effect.

AAA reported that the average U.S. price of regular unleaded gas fell to $4.06 on August 8, down from $4.72 in early July.

Even with lower prices in recent weeks, the sticker shock at the pump is still having an impact…
